This months photograph's were sent in by Mike
Callaghan. This Australian Kookuburra lives around
his property. Loves worms and will also kill
snakes of which Mike has more than his fair share. The
Kookuburras claim to fame is its call which is like a
demented peal of laughter, and early settlers were
known to be afraid to venture into the forest on
hearing it.
