	Cwmtillery Saracens 90 - Cwmcarn United 10
	Cwmtillery entertained Cwmcarn United in the Gwent League this week and came away with a resounding 90 - 10 win. To their credit Cwmcarn never gave up but were never in the match as the home side opened up the scoring with a try from the first movement in the third minute by Ian Padfield, converted by Mark Williams. Further tries in the first half were added by Jason Rimes (x2), Alun Edmunds (x2), Mark Williams (x2), Jonathon Price, and Damion Atwell to take them into a 59-0 halftime lead. In the second half Cwmcarn responded with two tries of their own but Cwmtillery increased their lead with tries from Adam Pegler, Kevin Meredith, Tim Gifford and both Padfield and Price snatching another try each. In the pack, big performances were put in by the second row partnership of Mark Williams and Tim Gifford and also fullback Mark Williams contributing with a 24-point tally in the first half. Next week Cwmtillery make the short trip to neighbours Aberbeeg in this eagerly awaited League encounter.
